Waterproof G3WP Camera

General Imaging has announced the launching of its first compact G3WP digital camera with a waterproof and highly-durable case allowing the camera to shoot pictures safely at depth of up to 3 meters.
The camera features a 12.2-megapixel sensor with sensitivity of up to 3,200 ISO units. The lens provides 4x optical zoom (4.5x digital zoom) and built-in image stabilization function. The camera also features a 234,000-resolution 2.7-inch LCD display and 116MB of built-in memory. The camera supports SDHC cards with up to 8 GB of storage space.
G3WP camera is equipped with a widespread PictBridge technology, allowing to print out the images straight from the camera without needing to use a computer. Other functions the camera possesses include: face, smile, blinking recognition, red-eye reduction.
The device is powered by a 700 mAh battery. The size of the model is 9.39 x 6.09 x 2.28cm, and its weight amounts to about 120g.
General Imaging G3WP camera is expected to arrive in the middle of the month in red, blue and gray cases. Its estimated price will make up to $200.
