In this easy, step-by-step tutorial I’m going to show you how to design a simple, professional & glossy “Download” button. I’m just using download as an example here, it’s really a multi-purpose button
These kind of buttons are also being used a lot on “Web 2.0″ sites lately, so get with the times! (not seriously)

These are all pretty old, but I thought I’d share them around anyway. They’re really useful for tons of things, signatures probably being the most common, but also headers, banners, whatever really, you just have to be creative!
So, click the preview images below and you’ll be taken to the full-sized .png files, which you can copy onto your Photoshop canvas.

Seriously though, these can be used for heaps of things, just get creative! Anyway, good luck, and I hope you liked at least one of them
Note: Yes, the names are random!

Hey! Well, this is the new look of PhotoshopStar
I’ve been working a lot lately on redoing some of the old content, trying to write new content, and tweaking the new design.
I’ll hopefully be releasing some new content within the next few weeks, so look forward to it!

Basically, in this tutorial I’m going to be showing you how to create a photo effect like the one in the below image, it’s pretty much all accomplished by using Filters, as are most photo effects, right? Photo manipulation on the other hand uses many tools of the trade, most commonly “airbrushing”, as everyone calls it. But we’re just going to be making a nice, hot, fiery kind of photo effect in this tutorial!

So, in this Photoshop tutorial I’m going to be showing you how to make a simple, nice & colorful circus-style logo, mainly using text and layer styles, but we’ll also add in some nice details.

You can see my outcome in the above image, which you’ll be making something very similar to it in this tutorial.
Thanks for reading on PhotoshopStar.
In this Photoshop tutorial I’ll teach you how to make a simple, glossy gem-icon as shown in the below image.

I’ll be showing you how to make some stylish, cheesy text with this simple tutorial. This stuff works great with print advertisements etc.

In this simple & easy tutorial I’m showing you how to make a grungy-styled gaming header, just like the one shown below!

In this easy tutorial I’m going to show you how to make a really cool, high-tech, alien-like text effect (wow, long name!) Mostly just using layer styles, but also some filters to finish it off nicely. You can see my result image below, which you’re going to be making something very similar to!
