HI!
this poster looks amazing! I tried to copy it however i got stuck on the step it seems everyone got stuck on-
selection and inversion of text.

i followed what
david.7.
and
Lindy
said, however it still is not working.

when i followed their instructions, my girl just got deleted and when i clicked in the text, it asked me if i wanted to rasterize.

any help would be appreciated!

Thanx loads!

To fit who posted June 13, I'm willing to help you if you're willing to give me a way of contacting you. I made notes on the tutorial as I worked through it. Mine turned out the same as the author's sample. I've done several samples now with different images, all came out right.

Thanks to David, he gave me the clue. This is how I did it. You need to be on Text layer, then Ctrl+left click on girl thumbnail, don't let go of Ctrl, so still holding Ctrl, left click on Text thumbnail, let go of Ctrl, then left click on girl thumbnail again. Select-Inverse-Delete. Ctrl+D to deselect.
