hey Eli and everyone!

first of all, Eli - I realy love your seo work.. your site ranks are just great at some competitive keywords..
I'm sure you get tons of traffic from it.. :)

I also have a photoshop tutorials (http://www.tutorialshot.com/) website. it's pretty new- half month old.
I add a new tutorial every week and planning on making a tips section.

I need some help in SEO. I tried to find good keywords for this kind of website but I couldn't find any that are not very competitive..

what do you guys reccomend me to do?

thanks, Dvir.

Personally I have no idea about keyword research, but I do know a little about SEO itself. I try to rank the best for 'photoshop tutorials', and I'm doing pretty well now, as well as for 'free photoshop tutorials.'

The best thing you can do is concentrate on good, valid markup and high-quality, keyword rich content. For your markup you should use <h1>Photoshop Tutorials</h1> as your logo image at the top, on every page. You should also be using <h2></h2> for the article titles, which is probably what you're already doing ;)

If not, better change those things asap.

You also need good backlinks with the anchor text you want to rank well for.

Thanks for your words Eli!
I got top page 2 on google for "photoshop cs3 tutorials".
At the first step I want to get 1-3 position for "photoshop cs3 tutorials" and then start thinking about the great keyword "photoshop tutorials"
meantime, I post more and more tutorials that bring me SE traffic for non competitive keywords... I like it ;)
