<p><span id="more-4586"></span></p>
<p>Basically, in this tutorial I’m going to be showing you how to create a photo effect like the one in the below image, it’s pretty much all accomplished by using color curves and color levels, as are most photo effects, right?</p>
<p>Start by finding some appropriate picture to use it in this tutorial. I used a cool hooligan photo. If you want you can download from it <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_Hooligan.jpg">here</a> and get to work. Open up the photo and increase contrast with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_01.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 01" /></p>
<p>Now we have a contrast like this:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_02.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 02" /></p>
<p>Ok, move to the next step. Begin to make color correction on photography. Press on the layers thumbnail ‘Create new fill or new adjustment layer’ button and chose Curves.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_03.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 03" /></p>
<p>After that set up following settings for each color channel:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_04.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 04" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_05.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 05" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_06.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 06" /></p>
<p>See the difference now?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_07big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_07.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 07" /></a></p>
<p>After that slightly reduce the contrast. Move to the original layer with photo and apply <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels</strong> with such settings as on the picture below.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_08.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 08" /></p>
<p>See the result now:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_09big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_09.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 09" /></a></p>
<p>Next, create a new layer above the curves layer and fill it with green color (<strong>#007016</strong>). Change layer mode to <strong>Overlay</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_10big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_10.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 10" /></a></p>
<p>And the last one thing that we need to do is to bring a little bit of noise to the photo. Create a new one layer and fill it with black color after that apply <strong>Filter &gt; Noise &gt; Add Noise</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_11.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 11" /></p>
<p>Now, change layer mode to <strong>Color Dodge </strong>and you will see the final result.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_12big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_12.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 12" /></a></p>
<p>That’s all for this tutorial! Sorry, but I hope you enjoyed it! This color manipulation effect looks cool, isn’t it?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_13full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Color Manipulation on the Photo 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/color_manipulation_13.jpg" alt="Color Manipulation on the Photo 13" /></a></p>

<p>I’m just going to be making a nice, hot tanned skin photo effect in this tutorial! If you are interesting, join me!</p>
<p><span id="more-4564"></span></p>
<p>So, let’s start! If you don’t have <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_Beach.jpg">appropriate photo</a> you can use mine or find another one thru Google Images. Also you can use your own photos if you think that you are not tanned on the photo or do not have time to go to the sea or ocean or just want to be swarthy. Open up the photo at first.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_01.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 01" /></p>
<p>The girl on the picture above looks untanned. I know how to help her to make ‘quick tan.’ Select the <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool </strong>and start with skin selection.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_02big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_02.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 02" /></a></p>
<p>Pay your attention that we selected just some part of the skin. We need to cut away part of swimsuits from selected area. Hold the <strong>Alt</strong> button (the minus sign should be appear near lasso tool pictogram) and start to cat away swimsuit from the selected area.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_03.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 03" /></p>
<p>Ok, after that we need to add selection the other parts of girl’s body. In this way hold the <strong>Shift</strong> button (the plus sign should be appear near lasso tool pictogram) and select as more areas as you need.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_04big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_04.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 04" /></a></p>
<p>Press <strong>Ctrl+J </strong>to duplicate selected part of image to the new layer. And now begin to change color for this layer, turning a girl in a light tan. For this effect apply <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Layers</strong> and set up following presets for each channel:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_05.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 05" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_06.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 06" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_07.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 07" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_08.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 08" /></p>
<p>Now, we have something like this:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_09big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_09.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 09" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, I think, It will be better to remove contrast a little bit and change brightness with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Brightness/Contrast</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_10.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 10" /></p>
<p>Here is result:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_11big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_11.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 11" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, we are done! The girl looks better as before. You can see the difference on the picture below. Of course we can make this effect in other ways in Photoshop, but this one is simple and useful as for me.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_12full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/skin_12.jpg" alt="Bring Tanned Look to the Skin 12" /></a></p>

<p>I tried to experiment with photo and mix it with black lines to simulate drawing. Would you know how to make it? Ok, then read this tutorial.</p>
<p><span id="more-4541"></span></p>
<p>Let’s start by finding the picture of beautiful girl with hairdressing. I went to Google Images and looked up the picture, you can feel free to download my picture from <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_woman.jpg">here</a>. Open up the picture and desaturate it in the beginning with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Desaturate</strong> or press <strong>Ctrl+Shift+U</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_01.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 01" /></p>
<p>After that increase the contrast with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_02.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 02" /></p>
<p>See the difference now?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_03big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_03.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 03" /></a></p>
<p>Move to the next step. Create a new layer and fill it with white color. After that change layer opacity for this layer to 30%. Then select the <strong>Eraser Tool </strong>and a soft round brush to make a little clear work on the face area.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_04.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 04" /></p>
<p>Merge two of these layers in one and start to make drawing effect. Get out the <strong>Pen Tool</strong> (you need to make sure that you’re working with Paths instead of <strong>Shape Layers</strong>). Draw out your line using paths:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_05.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 05" /></p>
<p>After that select the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> and set up with the following settings and set foreground color as black:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_06.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 06" /></p>
<p>Create new layer and then right-click and select <strong>Stroke Path</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_07.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 07" /></p>
<p>A little dialog box will appear as in the screenshot. Choose <strong>Brush</strong> and make sure there is a tick next to <strong>Simulate Pressure</strong>. This is important as it will give your curve tapered ends which will make it rock!</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_08.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 08" /></p>
<p>The picture use to look as mine:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_09.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 09" /></p>
<p>Now the line is hardly noticeable, but don’t worry about. Next right click again and select <strong>Delete Path</strong>. Try to make more lines in the same way to outline the body and hair contours.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_10big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_10.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 10" /></a></p>
<p>Now, move to the background layer with woman’s photo and select the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> (use soft brush about 100 px and set brush opacity to 30% up). Sketched the silhouette with white color a little bit.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_11big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_11.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 11" /></a></p>
<p>After that use the <strong>Sharpen Tool </strong>to make the contours more distinct.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_12big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_12.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 12" /></a></p>
<p>I finished off with this tutorial by merging all of my layers together. Please feel free to experiment, get creative, use your own settings. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_13full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/drawing_effect_13.jpg" alt="Creating Drawing Effect on the Photo 13" /></a></p>

<p>Here is one interesting tutorial where I will show u how to create small photo collage and apply color and black and white effects together. If are you interesting, let’s read and make!</p>
<p><span id="more-4511"></span></p>
<p>Firstly, start by finding a stock photos that you can add the effect to. A couple of good resources to find free stock photos are: stock.xchange and DeviantART. First of all find the photo of interior with <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_sofa.jpg">sofa</a> and another one will be the photo of the <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_bulldog.jpg">dog</a>. If you want to use your own pictures, feel free to use it and experiment with composition. Open the photo of the dog and try to separate the silhouette from the background with <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_01.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 01" /></p>
<p>Now, copy selected part of image with <strong>Ctrl+C</strong>, then open the picture with sofa and paste (press <strong>Ctrl+V</strong>) copied fragment from the first photo to the second.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_02big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_02.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 02" /></a></p>
<p>After that reduce copied fragment about 30% horizontally and vertically</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_03big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_03.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 03" /></a></p>
<p>Bulldog does not look realistic in the background. We should fix this problem. Right click on the current layer in palette thumbnails and apply such <strong>Blending Options</strong>:<br />
•	<a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_04.jpg">Drop Shadow</a>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_04.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 04" /></p>
<p>This layer style should be saved on the new layer as separate effect to have an opportunity to work with in future. Apply <strong>Layer &gt; Layer Style &gt; Create Layer</strong> to divide this layer style from the main layer. Go to the new separated layer with drop shadow (under the current layer) and use the <strong>Smudge Tool</strong> to transform it a little bit as on my picture below.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_05.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 05" /></p>
<p>After that apply the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> and a soft round brush to clear shadow, which is located behind the dog outside floor.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_06.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 06" /></p>
<p>Go to the layer with dog again and apply following <strong>Blending Options</strong> to it:<br />
•	<a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_07.jpg">Inner Glow</a></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_07.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 07" /></p>
<p>See the result on the picture below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_08.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 08" /></p>
<p>After that get out the <strong>Burn Tool</strong> (Brush: 50 px, Range: Midtones, Exposure: 30%) and obscure the back of the dog, which is in the shade.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_09.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 09" /></p>
<p>I think, It will be better to add the text, get out the Horizontal <strong>Type Tool</strong> and write out the text using green (<strong>#dcea78</strong>) color.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_10big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_10.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 10" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, merge all layers in one and duplicate with <strong>Ctrl+J</strong>. Then we need to desaturate copied layer. We can do this by using <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Desaturate</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_11big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_11.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 11" /></a></p>
<p>Now we have black and white photo and one color photo under. I’m going to mix two of these photos in the next way: select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> and use some soft round points to clear black and white image partly.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_12big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_12.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 12" /></a></p>
<p>Then use the <strong>Custom Shape Tool</strong> to add different sizes white animal prints.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_13big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_13.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 13" /></a></p>
<p>Now, merge all of prints in one layer and change layer mode to <strong>Overlay</strong>. Also set up opacity to 20%.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_14big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_14.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 14" /></a></p>
<p>I’m sorry, but tutorial is over. Hope, you had fun with it and learned something new. Good luck!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_15full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Collage 15" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/photo_collage_15.jpg" alt="Photo Collage 15" /></a></p>

<p>In this easy, step-by-step tutorial I’m going to show you how to replace yellow color of teeth to white on photo and create real ‘Hollywood smile.’</p>
<p><span id="more-4332"></span></p>
<p>Firstly, start by finding a photo that you can demonstrate the effect to. Try to use Google Images to find a good picture or feel free to <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_Face.jpg">use mine</a>. Now open up your photo in Photoshop, you can either keep it at it’s current size of resize it down a little bit. Then select the <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool</strong> to create the selection as on my picture below.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_01.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 01" /></p>
<p>Duplicate selected area with <strong>Ctrl+J</strong>. We will experiment with this copied layer. Apply <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels </strong>to change hue and saturation for current layer. Use settings similar to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_02.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 02" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_03.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 03" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_04.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 04" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_05.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 05" /></p>
<p>See the difference now:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_06.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 06" /></p>
<p>Ok, looks better, then before, but it will looks better without pink lips outside the teeth, get out the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> and a sharp round brush to clear area out of teeth.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_07.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 07" /></p>
<p>To finish off the tutorial, I think, we need to remove purple hue on teeth. Do this by using <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Hue/Saturation</strong> with next parameters:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_08.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 08" /></p>
<p>As for me, looks better now!</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_09.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 09" /></p>
<p>Ok, after that select the <strong>Dodge Tool</strong> (Brush: 45px, Range: Midtones, Exposure: 50%) and make a little dodge work on the teeth in the mouth corner.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_10.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 10" /></p>
<p>Well, we’re done for the tutorial! I hope you enjoyed it, even just a little bit. Now, you have real ‘Hollywood smile!’</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_11full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create Hollywood Smile 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/hollywood_smile_11.jpg" alt="Create Hollywood Smile 11" /></a></p>

<p>Professional photographers who makes pictures of the night the city can use different filters in their professional camera to achieve certain effect on the photo. What to do when there is no professional equipment? In this way Photoshop can help us!</p>
<p><span id="more-4110"></span></p>
<p>In the beginning open up <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_Night-City.jpg">the photo</a> you’ve chosen to be working with for this tutorial. Also you can use Google Images to find other pictures. Duplicate it once with <strong>Ctrl+J</strong> and select light sources on the picture with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels</strong>. Set with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_01.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 01" /></p>
<p>Now we have something like this:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_02big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_02.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 02" /></a></p>
<p>Most of the elements of photography will disappear, except for the bright spots. But now some spots are redundant also. You can remove it with the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> with black color.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_03big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_03.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 03" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, after that change layer mode to Screen and duplicate this layer with <strong>Ctrl+J</strong>. After that start to create interesting professional camera lighting effect. Apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Motion Blur</strong> to the current layer:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_04.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 04" /></p>
<p>But the effect is almost not noticeable now:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_05big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_05.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 05" /></a></p>
<p>It can be strengthened through <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels</strong> with moderate settings:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_06.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 06" /></p>
<p>Looks good, but glowing is not so real right now. Press <strong>Ctrl+F</strong> (apply Motion Blur one more time) to resolve this problem.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_07big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_07.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 07" /></a></p>
<p>Looks better than before. Ok start with the second part of the effect. Go to the layer under and apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Motion Blur</strong>, but don’t forget to change to opposite.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_08.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 08" /></p>
<p>After that apply the same <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels</strong> as for the layer under.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_08big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_09.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 09" /></a></p>
<p>Now, press <strong>Ctrl+F</strong> to make this glowing more realistic.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_10big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_10.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 10" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, now we have and interesting professional camera filter effect. Well, we’re done for this tutorial! Thanks for reading to everyone.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_11full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/professional_camera_filter-_11.jpg" alt="How to Duplicate Professional Camera Filter in Photoshop 11" /></a></p>

<p>If you are interesting in pyrotechnics then this tutorial special for you!</p>
<p><span id="more-3847"></span></p>
<p>In the beginning, find some appropriate photo of the night sky where we can demonstrate fireworks effect. I think <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_Tower.jpg">this one photo</a> will be great example. Open this picture. Now, before we can start making fireworks lines, I would like to note you that you need to get out the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> before and set up with the following settings:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_01.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 01" /></p>
<p>Then change some brush presets to create realistic fireworks lines. You can do it using <strong>Window &gt; Brushes</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_02.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 02" /></p>
<p>After that set foreground color to <strong>#c0ff00</strong>. Ok, select the <strong>Pen Tool</strong> (make sure that you’re working with <em>Paths </em>instead of <em>Shape Layers</em>). Draw out your line using paths:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_03.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 03" /></p>
<p>Then press <strong>Esc</strong> to finish the current line. Create a new layer, after that right-click and select <strong>Stroke Path</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_04.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 04" /></p>
<p>A little dialog box will appear as in the screenshot. Choose <strong>Brush</strong> and press <strong>OK</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_05.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 05" /></p>
<p>You can see the result on the picture below.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_06.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 06" /></p>
<p>Create other lines in the same way. It will be better to create about 5-6 lines, not more.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_07.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 07" /></p>
<p>Looks good, isn’t it? Ok, go to the next step. Apply <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_08.jpg">Outer Glow</a> layer style for this layer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_08.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 08" /></p>
<p>Effect will be next:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_09.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 09" /></p>
<p>Ok, after that select the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> and set up the next presets as on my picture below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_10.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 10" /></p>
<p>Draw the print on the same layer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_11.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 11" /></p>
<p>After that change the brush from the palette and add a little bit more dots in the bottom of lines.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_12.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 12" /></p>
<p>Do it a couple of times.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_13.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 13" /></p>
<p>Now, select a new one standard brush as shown below.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_14.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 14" /></p>
<p>Make the same prints as on my picture.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 15" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_15.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 15" /></p>
<p>And the last one thing that we need to do is add the glow around the fireworks. Create a new layer and move it under the layer with fireworks. Set foreground color as <strong>#b3c8ff</strong>, then select the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> and a soft round brush about 170 pixels and print a big dot like mine:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 16" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_16.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 16" /></p>
<p>Change opacity to 45% for this layer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 17" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_17.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 17" /></p>
<p>Then add I little bit more fireworks in the same way:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 18" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_18.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 18" /></p>
<p>Ok, time to move our fireworks out the tower. Use the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> to clear foreground from flashes.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 19" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_19.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 19" /></p>
<p>Looks better, but, I think, not finished. Do you agree with me? To remove this unsuitable feeling go to the background layer and duplicate it with <strong>Ctrl+J</strong>. after that change picture hue with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Hue/Saturation</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 20" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_20.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 20" /></p>
<p>Now we have something like this:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 21" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_21.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 21" /></p>
<p>Select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> (Opacity: 30%) to clear left part of image from the blue glow.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 22" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_22.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 22" /></p>
<p>Looks better! Don’t you think? That is it for now! Enjoy this tutorial!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_23full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 23" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/cool_fireworks_cool_fireworks_23.jpg" alt="Add Cool Fireworks to the Photo 23" /></a></p>

<p>Here is not so hard, but very interesting tutorial how to make an artistic photo.</p>
<p><span id="more-3826"></span></p>
<p>So, let’s begin! Get started by finding a nice, suitable photo to work with. For this you’ll want to use Google Images or some stock photo websites. I found <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_pearls.jpg">this one picture</a>. Open this picture. Then we need to increase the space around the photo. Use <strong>Image &gt; Canvas Size</strong> and set up width about 700 pixels.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_01.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 01" /></p>
<p>Create a new layer below the current layer and fill it with black color.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_02.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 02" /></p>
<p>Go back to the layer with photo and duplicate it with <strong>Ctrl+J</strong>, after that desaturate this layer with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Desaturate</strong> (or press <strong>Crtl+Shift+U</strong>)</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_03.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 03" /></p>
<p>Set opacity up to 72% for this layer. Then select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> and hard round brush about 10 pixels and make clear work on the lips to retrieve the red color.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_04.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 04" /></p>
<p>Ok, merge two of these layers with photo in one and duplicate new layer again. Apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Gaussian Blur</strong> to copied layer:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_05.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 05" /></p>
<p>Now, change layer mode to <strong>Overlay</strong> and set up opacity to 70%.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_06.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 06" /></p>
<p>After that, select the <strong>Gradient Tool</strong>, create new layer and fill it with black to transparent gradient as shown on my picture below.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_07big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_07.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 07" /></a></p>
<p>Time to make a little accent on the beads. Temporary change opacity to 70%, then select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> (Brush: 40 px, Hardness: 100%, Opacity: 10%) and make a little dots on baeds on the gradient layer.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_08big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_08.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 08" /></a></p>
<p>Change opacity to 100% again. After that use the <strong>Blur Tool</strong> (Brush: 150 px, Strength: 30%) to blur the space around the beads a little bit.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_09big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_09.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 09" /></a></p>
<p>Well, we’re done for the tutorial! I hope you enjoyed it, even just a little.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_10full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/artistic_photo_10.jpg" alt="Create an Artistic Photo by Yourself 10" /></a></p>

<p>Now we are going to design creative multicolored sunset using photo mixing some vector shapes and lighting effects.</p>
<p><span id="more-3720"></span></p>
<p>First of all, we need to find some appropriate picture of sunset to design it in future. Use Google Images or you can also use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_sunset.jpg">my picture</a>. Open up picture and start the tutorial! Duplicate background with <strong>Ctrl+J</strong>, then go to <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Gaussian Blur</strong> and apply a mild blur of 1,5px.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_01.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 01" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_02.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 02" /></p>
<p>Now, we set the blurred layer to blending mode <strong>Soft Light</strong> and set opacity up to 50%. After that make this layer black and white with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Desaturate</strong> or press <strong>Ctrl+Shift+U</strong>. This gives us a slightly surreal blurring on the image.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_03.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 03" /></p>
<p>Now, I think we need to do a little dodge work. Select the <strong>Dodge Tool </strong>(Brush: 250 px, Range: Highlights, Exposure: 50%) and make clearer the dark parts of the image. See the difference now:</p>
<p><a title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 04" href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_04big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_04.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 04" /></a></p>
<p>Merge two of these layers in one. We are done with background for now. Move to the next step. Create a new layer, then select the <strong>Elliptical Marquee Tool </strong>and create selections as shown on the picture below. After that fill selected area with white color.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_05.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 05" /></p>
<p>Remove selection with <strong>Ctrl+D</strong> and apply the <strong>Blur Tool</strong> to blur the sun shape and then change layer mode to <strong>Overlay </strong>for this layer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_06.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 06" /></p>
<p>Ok, now select the <strong>Rectangular Marquee Tool</strong> and create selection as on my picture that you can see below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_07.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 07" /></p>
<p>Cut chosen area to the new layer with <strong>Ctrl+Shift+J</strong>. Apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur&gt; Motion Blur</strong> to the new received layer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_08.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 08" /></p>
<p>You should receive something like this:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_09.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 09" /></p>
<p>Looks as real sun now, don’t you agree? Good, now I would like to add some curl ornaments to the sun glow. Well, we need to find the elements we will use. I prefer to use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_curls.png">these</a>. Let’s start mixing curls with sun glow.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_10.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 10" /></p>
<p>Merge all layers with curls in one and duplicate received new one layer using <strong>Ctrl+J</strong>. Apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Gaussian Blur</strong> with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_11.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 11" /></p>
<p>Now we have an effect like this:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_12.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 12" /></p>
<p>Merge two layers with curls in one again and duplicate one more time. After that flip new duplicated layer vertical with <strong>Edit &gt; Transform &gt; Flip Vertical</strong> and move it down.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_13.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 13" /></p>
<p>Apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Motion Blur</strong> to this layer:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_14.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 14" /></p>
<p>See the difference, now?</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 15" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_15.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 15" /></p>
<p>Set the blurred layer to blending mode <strong>Overlay</strong> and after that select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> and a soft round brush about 50 px to clear curls image out the sea area.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 16" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_16.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 16" /></p>
<p>Now, go to the previous layer and apply <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_17.jpg">Outer Glow</a> layer style to it.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 17" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_17.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 17" /></p>
<p>See the result:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 18" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_18.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 18" /></p>
<p>Now the lighting is pretty nice already, but I&#8217;d like some different hues in the image as it makes the image a lot warmer than bluish colors. Use next colors to make sunset multicolor: <strong>#c59840</strong>, <strong>#c54053</strong>,<strong> #c540c0</strong>, <strong>#7840c5</strong>, <strong>#43609a</strong>. So in a new layer, use the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> (Brush: 80 px) to make brush strokes with a different colors.</p>
<p><a title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 19" href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_19big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 19" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_19.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 19" /></a></p>
<p>After that apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Gaussian Blur</strong> with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 20" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_20.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 20" /></p>
<p>We received something like this:</p>
<p><a title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 21" href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_21big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 21" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_21.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 21" /></a></p>
<p>Now in your tools palette choose the <strong>Smudge Tool</strong> (Brush: 150 px, Mode: Normal, Strength: 35%). Using your mouse, smudge your multicolor strokes outwards. Note that in the image shown, I&#8217;ve done some pretty big smudges so you can see roughly what we&#8217;re doing, but in reality you should make smaller, more subtle smudges.</p>
<p><a title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 22" href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_22big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 22" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_22.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 22" /></a></p>
<p>Now we set the layer to blending mode <strong>Color </strong>and set opacity up to 47%.</p>
<p><a title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 23" href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_23big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 23" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_23.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 23" /></a></p>
<p>Then use the <strong>Eraser Tool </strong>with a large, soft brush and remove some areas where you don&#8217;t want as much to shine through.</p>
<p><a title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 24" href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_24big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 24" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_24.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 24" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, time to add the sun rays to finish off the tutorial. To make it we are going to use a combination of glowing edges and radial blurring. Go to the background layer and duplicate it using <strong>Ctrl+J</strong>. Then go to <strong>Filter &gt; Stylize &gt; Glowing Edges</strong> and use settings as on my picture below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 25" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_25.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 25" /></p>
<p>Looks strange, isn’t it?</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 26" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_26.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 26" /></p>
<p>Set the layer to blending mode <em>Screen</em> and apply new <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Radial Blur</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 27" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_27.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 27" /></p>
<p>Please note that the blur center is shifted slightly to the right to the place where the sun shines.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 28" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_28.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 28" /></p>
<p>Repeat the last filter used again by pressing <strong>Ctrl+F</strong>. After that go to the <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels</strong> to correct brightness and contrast for current layer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 29" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_29.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 29" /></p>
<p>Picture becomes better now:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 30" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_30.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 30" /></p>
<p>After that try to correct the sun rays a little bit. Use the <strong>Smudge Tool</strong> (Brush:150 px, Mode: Normal, Strength: 30%) to do this.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 31" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_31.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 31" /></p>
<p>Looks better now! Now, bring more sharpness to the sun rays. To do this use the <strong>Sharpen Tool</strong> (Brush:500 px, Mode: Normal, Strength: 40%).</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 32" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_32.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 32" /></p>
<p>We finished off with this tutorial now! Hope it was interesting and useful for you!</p>
<p><a title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 33" href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_33.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 33" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/multicolored_sunset_33full.jpg" alt="Design Creative Multicolored Sunset 33" /></a></p>

<p>Would you like to make creative photo manipulation? If yes, then this tutorial special for you!</p>
<p><span id="more-3329"></span></p>
<p>Ok, to begin you need to find a few photos to make composition by using it. First of all find the photo of the eye. Use Google Images or different stock photo resources. Also you can use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_eye.jpg">my photo</a>. Open this file and duplicate the layer with <strong>Ctrl+J</strong>, then desaturate upper layer with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Desaturate</strong> (or use <strong>Ctrl+Shift+U</strong>):</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_01.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 01" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Ok, go on. Get the <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool</strong> to select eyeball area as on my picture:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_02.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 02" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Press <strong>Delete </strong>to clear selected area and remove selection with <strong>Ctrl+D</strong>. Eyeball area becomes color again.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_03.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 03" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Time to add the texture to the skin. Now, find another one picture of the Earth map or <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_map.jpg">use mine</a>. Open this picture and copy it to our main canvas and reduce it a little bit. Change layer mode for this layer to <strong>Soft Light</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_04.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 04" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Apply <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Brightness/Contrast </strong>with next presets:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_05.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 05" /></p>
<p>Now you should have something like this one below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_06.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 06" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>After that make contrast correction. Now, using the <strong>Dodge Tool </strong>with moderate settings (Soft brush: 65 px, Range: Midtones, Exposure: 50%) do a little bit of dodge-work.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_07.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 07" width="500" height="300" /></p>

<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_08.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 08" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Deselect this fragment with <strong>Ctrl+D</strong>. Then apply the <strong>Sharpen Tool</strong> (Mode: Normal, Strength: 50%) and a soft round brush about 500 px to the map layer to make it sharp.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_09.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 09" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Move to the next step. Find a new one picture of fish in water; also feel free to <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_fish.jpg">use mine</a>. Open this picture and copy it onto the main canvas. Then select water bubbles using the <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool</strong> and cut this selected fragment to the new layer with <strong>Ctrl+Shift+J</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_10.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 10" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Hide the layer with picture of fish (click on the eye, which indicates layer visibility), we will use it later. Now set the layer mode to <strong>Multiply </strong>for layer with water bubbles. After that move it to the eye area as on my picture below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_11.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 11" width="500" height="300" /></p>

<p>Ok, after that select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> and make clear all outside eyeball area. See the result below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_13.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 13" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Go back to the hidden layer with fish and make it visible again. Select the <strong>Magic Wand Tool</strong> and divide fish from white background.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_14.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 14" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Then press <strong>Delete</strong> to clear image in selected area and remove the selection with <strong>Ctrl+D</strong>. Use <strong>Edit &gt; Free Transform</strong> (<strong>Ctrl+T</strong>) to reduce fish as on picture below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 15" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_15.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 15" width="500" height="300" /></p>
<p>Duplicate this layer two more times and reduce it in the same way.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Photo Manipulation 16" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/photo_manipulation_16.jpg" alt="Photo Manipulation 16" width="500" height="300" /></p>
