<p>Here I’m going to show you one interesting fantastic glowing effect which you can use in your designs.</p>
<p><span id="more-5652"></span></p>
<p>In the beginning you should create a new document with size about <strong>500&#215;500</strong> pixels and fill it with black color.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_01.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 01" /></p>
<p>Then find some appropriate picture of hand or other item you want. You can search for some pictures on Google Images or can use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_palm.jpg">mine</a>. Open up the picture and copy it to our main canvas.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_02.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 02" /></p>
<p>Then use <strong>Magic Wand Too</strong>l to divide palm from the white background. Press <strong>Delete </strong>to clear selected area.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_03big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_03.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 03" /></a></p>
<p>Remove selection with <strong>Ctrl+D</strong> and begin creating the effect. Now, before we can start making glow parts of palm, I would like to note you that you have to get out the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> before and set up with the following settings:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_04.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 04" /></p>
<p>Also set foreground color to white. Create a new layer, after that select the <strong>Pen Tool</strong> (you need to make sure that you’re working with <strong>Paths</strong> instead of <strong>Shape Layers</strong>). Draw out your line using paths:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_05.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 05" /></p>
<p>Then right-click and select <strong>Stroke Path</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_06.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 06" /></p>
<p>A little dialog box will appear as in the screenshot. Choose <strong>Brush </strong>and make sure there is a tick next to <strong>Simulate Pressure</strong>. This is important as it will give your curve tapered ends which will make it rock!</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_07.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 07" /></p>
<p>The picture use to look as mine:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_08.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 08" /></p>
<p>Next right click again and select <strong>Delete Path</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_09.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 09" /></p>
<p>Now, apply <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_10.jpg">Outer Glow</a> layer style to current layer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_10.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 10" /></p>
<p>The effect should be next:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_11.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 11" /></p>
<p>Create a new line using the <strong>Pen Tool</strong> on the same way. Our task is to create the largest possible number of visible lines to make the silhouette clearer. In order not to create each line individually, and not spend too much time you can press <strong>Ctrl </strong>when finished to create a line, and click on the canvas. After that, you can create a new line regardless of the place where the previous line ended.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_12big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_12.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 12" /></a></p>
<p>After that select the <strong>Direct Selection Tool</strong> and make selection of all the lines. Then make the same things to create glowing lines as before.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_13big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_13.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 13" /></a></p>
<p>Ok and the last one step. Go to the layer with palm and set up fill opacity to 0% for this layer. Then apply <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_14.jpg">Outer glow</a> layer style to it.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_14.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 14" /></p>
<p>The result should be next:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_15big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 15" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_15.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 15" /></a></p>
<p>Great! Our work is done! Enjoy your own fantastic glowing effect!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_16full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Fantastic Glowing Effect 16" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/glowing_effect_16.jpg" alt="Fantastic Glowing Effect 16" /></a></p>

<p>Have you ever seen any fruits or vegetables with a face? In this tutorial I’m going to show you how to make realistic view collage with fruit and human face.</p>
<p><span id="more-5524"></span></p>
<p>In the beginning you should find the picture of ay fruit or vegetable. I prefer to use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_pear.jpg">this one</a> picture of pear. Open up the picture.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_01.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 01" /></p>
<p>Then you need to find appropriate picture of human face to put it on the fruit. You can use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_face.jpg">mine picture</a> or feel free to use your own. Ok, open up the picture and copy it to the first canvas with fruit. Then set up opacity to 45% for this layer and use <strong>Edit &gt; Free Transform</strong> to reduce the picture and rotate it as on my picture below.</p>
<p><a href ="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_02big.jpg "><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_02.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 02" /></a></p>
<p>Set up opacity to 100% for current layer again and begin cleaning work with <strong>Eraser Tool</strong>. Use soft round brush with opacity about 30%. Remove all parts, leaving only the eyes, lips and nose.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_03.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 03" /></p>
<p>After that select hard round brush and make clear finger area.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_04.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 04" /></p>
<p>Press <strong>Ctrl+J</strong> to duplicate layer and hide the copy (click on the eye, which indicates layer visibility). Go to lower layer and apply <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Color Balance</strong> with next presets:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_05.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 05" /></p>
<p>See the result below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_06.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 06" /></p>
<p>After that use <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt;Hue/Saturation</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_07.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 07" /></p>
<p>The picture should look like this:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_08.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 08" /></p>
<p>After that select the <strong>Burn Too</strong>l (Brush: 70px, Range: Midtones, Exposure: 30%) to make some burn work.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_09.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 09" /></p>
<p>Go back to the hidden layer and make it visible again. Select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> again and remove all content, leaving just eyeballs, nostrils and mouth.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_10.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 10" /></p>
<p>Then apply <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels</strong> to this layer:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_11.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 11" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_12.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 12" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_13.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 13" /></p>
<p>See the result below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_14.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 14" /></p>
<p>After that get out the <strong>Burn Tool</strong> (Brush: 70px, Range: Midtones, Exposure: 30%) again and darken nostrils and mouth areas.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 15" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_15.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 15" /></p>
<p>Select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> and a soft round brush with 30% opacity and make little clean work on the same areas.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 16" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_16.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 16" /></p>
<p>Looks good, isn’t it? Ok, move to the next step. We should add the pear texture to the face. Go to the background layer and make selection with <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool</strong> as was shown on my picture below.</p>
<p><a href ="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_17big.jpg "><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 17" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_17.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 17" /></a></p>
<p>Press <strong>Ctrl+J</strong> to duplicate selected area on the new layer. After that move this layer above all the layers and change layer mode to <strong>Soft Light </strong>for it.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 18" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_18.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 18" /></p>
<p>Then make some brightness and contrast corrections with<strong> Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Brightness/Contrast</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 19" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_19.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 19" /></p>
<p>Now you should have something like this:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 20" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_20.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 20" /></p>
<p>After that select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> again and remove clear borders of this texture.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 21" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_21.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 21" /></p>
<p>Use the <strong>Burn Tool</strong> (Brush: 40px, Range: Midtones, Exposure: 30%) one more time to make features more clearly.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 22" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_22.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 22" /></p>
<p>On this step we are done! Hope, this tutorial was useful for you.</p>
<p><a href ="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_23full.jpg "><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 23" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/visualization_23.jpg" alt="How to Cheat with Visualization in Photoshop 23" /></a></p>

<p>In this small Photoshop tutorial I’m going to show you some interesting effect which I have got by experimenting. You can apply it on your designs.</p>
<p><span id="more-5469"></span></p>
<p>Create a new document about <strong>1000&#215;700</strong> pixels. Select some appropriate colors, for example colors of <strong>#6b4c00</strong>,<strong> #190900</strong> and drag a linear gradient.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Cool Effect for Your Designs 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_01.jpg" alt="Cool Effect for Your Designs 01" /></p>
<p>After that I would like to add more colors to the background. For this create a new layer, use the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> and select a soft brush with the diameter 400 pixels and add some colors to your layout. I have used next colors: <strong>#fff000</strong>, <strong>#e7340a</strong>, <strong>#20f00a</strong> and <strong>#0a7dcd</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_02big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Cool Effect for Your Designs 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_02.jpg" alt="Cool Effect for Your Designs 02" /></a></p>
<p>Then apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Gaussian Blur</strong> with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Cool Effect for Your Designs 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_03.jpg" alt="Cool Effect for Your Designs 03" /></p>
<p>Then change layer mode to <strong>Overlay </strong>for this layer.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_04big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Cool Effect for Your Designs 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_04.jpg" alt="Cool Effect for Your Designs 04" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, now I would like to add some elements to the background. Select the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> and select one of the standard Photoshop brushes:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Cool Effect for Your Designs 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_05.jpg" alt="Cool Effect for Your Designs 05" /></p>
<p>And add a few prints with white color on the new layer.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_06big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Cool Effect for Your Designs 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_06.jpg" alt="Cool Effect for Your Designs 06" /></a></p>
<p>After that apply <strong>Filter &gt; Pixelate &gt; Mosaic </strong>with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Cool Effect for Your Designs 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_07.jpg" alt="Cool Effect for Your Designs 07" /></p>
<p>To receive the next effect:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_08big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Cool Effect for Your Designs 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_08.jpg" alt="Cool Effect for Your Designs 08" /></a></p>
<p>Move to the next step. Now I would like to add the text. But I’m going to add it without using <strong>Type Tool</strong>. I will add it in different way. Select the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> and download <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_elegantletters.abr">these</a> brushes. Then create a new layer and put every letter on it with color of <strong>#ffc088</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_09big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Cool Effect for Your Designs 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_09.jpg" alt="Cool Effect for Your Designs 09" /></a></p>
<p>Duplicate the layer with <strong>Ctrl+J</strong> and apply <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cool_effect_10.jpg">Outer Glow</a> for current layer.</p>

<p>Then go to the layer under and press <strong>Сtrl+F</strong> to apply <strong>Filter &gt; Pixelate &gt; Mosaic</strong> with similar presets again. After that mess with the layer mode &amp; opacity/fill. I tried <strong>Hard Light</strong> with opacity of <strong>60%</strong>.</p>

<p>Here I’ll be teaching you how to add the picture to the old parchment in easy way. This tutorial can be done even by beginners.</p>
<p><span id="more-5415"></span></p>
<p>Ok, let’s begin! To start this tutorial you need to find some appropriate picture of old parchment. If you don’t have any, feel free to use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_parchment.jpg">mine</a>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_01.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 01" /></p>
<p>Then we need to stylize our parchment before we put the picture on it. Select the<strong> Burn Tool </strong>(Brush: 150px, Range: Midtones, Exposure: 63%) to add a few dark spots on the parchment canvas.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_02big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_02.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 02" /></a></p>
<p>Now we can start with creating the image. To do this we need brushes, which can be downloaded from <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_japanese.abr">here</a>. Select the <strong>Brush Tool</strong>, upload these brushes and make one print with color of <strong>#a17c0b</strong> on the new layer as shown on the picture below.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_03big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_03.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 03" /></a></p>
<p>Begin stylize the picture. Change layer mode to <strong>Multiply </strong>for this layer. Then select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> and choose one of the standard Photoshop brushes:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_04.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 04" /></p>
<p>Set up opacity about 50% for this eraser brush and begin cleaning work.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_05big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_05.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 05" /></a></p>
<p>Then load selection with <strong>Select &gt; Load Selection</strong>, go to Channels inset, create a new Alpha channel and fill selected area with white color in it.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_06big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_06.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 06" /></a></p>
<p>After that apply <strong>Filter &gt; Sketch &gt; Halftone Pattern</strong> with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_07.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 07" /></p>
<p>The result should be next:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_08big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_08.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 08" /></a></p>
<p>Use <strong>Select &gt; Color Range</strong> to range color selection using pipette.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_09.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 09" /></p>
<p>Now we have some selected area:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_10big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_10.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 10" /></a></p>
<p>Go back to the <strong>Layers</strong> inset, create a new layer and fill selected area with color of <strong>#a17c0b</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_11big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_11.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 11" /></a></p>
<p>Remove selection with <strong>Ctrl+D</strong> and change layer mode to <strong>Multiply </strong>for this layer.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_12big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_12.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 12" /></a></p>
<p>After that select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> with the same presets again and do small cleaning work one more time.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_13big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_13.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 13" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, that is it for now! Hope your result looks the same as mine.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_14full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/old_parchment_14.jpg" alt="Adding the Picture to the Old Parchment 14" /></a></p>

<p>Here I’m going to learn how to easily add a realistic water reflection to your picture.</p>
<p><span id="more-5293"></span></p>
<p>Here is the <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_water.jpg">photo</a> that I&#8217;ll be working with throughout this tutorial:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_01.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 01" /></p>
<p>Also you can use your own pictures or find some appropriate pictures thru the Google Images. Ok, now I will explain you how to make the right reflection. In the beginning you should select the part of image what is above the water, then duplicate it and flip vertical. Then we will process copied part of image with some filters to get realistic view water reflection. Ok, using the <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool</strong> create selection as was shown on my picture, which you can see below:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_02big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_02.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 02" /></a></p>
<p>After that press <strong>Ctrl+J</strong> to copy selected part of image on the new layer. After that use <strong>Edit &gt; Transform &gt; Flip Vertical</strong> to flip new copied layer vertical and move it down as on picture below.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_03big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_03.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 03" /></a></p>
<p>As you can see the shoreline is rough, that’s why we need to do some correction with it. Use the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> to correct it a little bit. But pay your attention that we have some small island from the right side. Don’t remove it from the copied layer.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_04big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_04.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 04" /></a></p>
<p>Use the <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool </strong>to select this island and press <strong>Ctrl+Shift+J</strong> to cut selected part of image on the new layer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_05.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 05" /></p>
<p>Now, move it a little bit down and apply <strong>Edit &gt; Transform &gt; Warp</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_06.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 06" /></p>
<p>Merge this layer with previous again. Before we move to the next step, you need to make displacement map to create the water ripple effect. So, create a new document with the same size. Press <strong>D </strong>to reset Foreground and Background colors (Foreground color will be black and Background color will be white). Then fill canvas with white color. After that apply <strong>Filter &gt; Sketch &gt; Halftone Pattern</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_07.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 07" /></p>
<p>Now you have something like this:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_08.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 08" /></p>
<p>Save this document as Lines.psd and close it. Go back to our main document and select current layer with <strong>Select &gt; Load Selection</strong>. After that apply <strong>Filter &gt; Distort &gt; Ripple</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_09.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 09" /></p>
<p>You can see the result on the picture below:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_10big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_10.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 10" /></a></p>
<p>Then apply <strong>Filter &gt; Distort &gt; Displace</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_11.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 11" /></p>
<p>Click <strong>OK</strong> in the top right corner of the dialog box, and Photoshop will ask you which file you want to use as your displacement map. Choose the file that you just saved a moment ago (<strong>Lines.psd</strong>).</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_12big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_12.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 12" /></a></p>
<p>Now, press <strong>Ctrl+T</strong> to reduce the height of our reflection and press <strong>Enter</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_13big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_13.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 13" /></a></p>
<p>Remove selection with <strong>Ctrl+D</strong>. After that to make reflection at the bottom of the picture more transparent apply <strong>Quick Mask Mode</strong> with gradient as below:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_14big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_14.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 14" /></a></p>
<p>Then go back to <strong>Standard Mode</strong>. Now we have some selected area, press <strong>Delete </strong>to clear image in it.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_15big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 15" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_15.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 15" /></a></p>
<p>Remove selection with <strong>Ctrl+D </strong>and set up layer opacity to 50%. After that apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Motion Blur</strong> with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 16" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_16.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 16" /></p>
<p>The result should be next:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_17big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 17" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_17.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 17" /></a></p>
<p>And the last one thing that we should add is ripples. For this effect create a new layer and add a few brush strokes with <strong>Brush Tool</strong> using white color.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_18big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 18" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_18.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 18" /></a></p>
<p>After that set up foreground color as <strong>#022149</strong> and add more brush strokes on the same layer with this color.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_19big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 19" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_19.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 19" /></a></p>
<p>After that apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Motion Blur</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 20" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_20.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 20" /></p>
<p>Change layer mode to <strong>Soft Light </strong>and you will get the final result:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_21big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 21" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_21.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 21" /></a></p>
<p>On the picture below you can see the final result! I’m sorry but I’m done for now. Please feel free to experiment and you will get the best results!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_22full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Realistic View Water Reflection 22" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/water_reflection_22.jpg" alt="Realistic View Water Reflection 22" /></a></p>

<p>On this Photoshop tutorial I’m going to show u how to make one interesting effect which I received by experimenting with Photoshop filters. In the end our effect will looks like cardiac rate.</p>
<p><span id="more-5256"></span></p>
<p>Ok, let’s begin. Create a new document sized 700&#215;700 pixels and fill it with black color.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_01.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 01" /></p>
<p>After that apply <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_02.jpg">Gradient Overlay</a> layer style.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_02.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 02" /></p>
<p>The result should be next:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_03.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 03" /></p>
<p>After that create a new layer and merge it with previous to get all effects in one layer. Then apply <strong>Filter &gt; Brush Strokes &gt; Sprayed Strokes</strong> with next parameters:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_04.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 04" /></p>
<p>See the difference now?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_05big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_05.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 05" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, now we can start with creating effect. Select the <strong>Horizontal Type Tool </strong>and write out something like ‘BEAT.’ Pay your attention that the text color should be white and different design elements also. Only in this way effect of applying a filter will be maximum.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_06big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_06.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 06" /></a></p>
<p>In the above image I’ve used Swis721 as my font of choice, which is free and it’s sized at a meager 120 pt. Ok after that we need to add a few lines more. Select the <strong>Line Tool</strong> (Weight: 3 px) and draw the lines like on my picture below:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_07big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_07.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 07" /></a></p>
<p>After that merge text layer with lines in one layer. Then select the<strong> Eraser Tool</strong> and hard round brush and make some clear work on the new layer.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_08big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_08.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 08" /></a></p>
<p>Good, then rotate our layer about 90 degrees with <strong>Edit &gt; Transform &gt; Rotate 90 CCW</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_09.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 09" /></p>
<p>After that apply<strong> Filter&gt;Stylize&gt;Wind</strong> with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_10.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 10" /></p>
<p>See the effect now:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_11big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_11.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 11" /></a></p>
<p>Then press <strong>Ctrl+F</strong> to enhance the action filter.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_12big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_12.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 12" /></a></p>
<p>After that apply<strong> Filter&gt;Stylize&gt;Wind</strong> again, but now you need to change some parameters:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_13.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 13" /></p>
<p>The result should be next:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_14big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_14.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 14" /></a></p>
<p>Again press <strong>Ctrl+F</strong> to enhance the action filter again.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_15big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 15" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_15.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 15" /></a></p>
<p>Looking good isn’t it? But this tutorial is not done for now. After that use <strong>Edit &gt; Transform &gt; Rotate 90 CW</strong> to rotate text with lines back.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 16" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_16.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 16" /></p>
<p>Then apply <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_17.jpg">Outer Glow</a> and <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_18.jpg">Color Overlay</a> layer styles for this layer.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 17" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_17.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 17" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 18" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_18.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 18" /></p>
<p>Ok, now you should have the result like this on my picture below.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_19big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 19" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_19.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 19" /></a></p>
<p>That is it. Great job!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_20full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 20" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/cardiac_rate_20.jpg" alt="Creating Cardiac Rate Effect 20" /></a></p>

<p>Would you like how to create the text on the wet sweaty window in Photoshop? If yes, so, this tutorial special for you!</p>
<p><span id="more-5204"></span></p>
<p>Use Google Images or any stock photo websites to find some appropriate picture of the window with water drops or feel free to use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_window.jpg">mine picture</a>. Open up the picture and apply <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Desaturate</strong> to make it black and white.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_01.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 01" /></p>
<p>After that I would like to reduce brightness with <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels</strong> using following presets:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_02.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 02" /></p>
<p>Your result should look as mine:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_03big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_03.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 03" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, after that I would like to add one more picture, for example, night city picture as the street background out of glass. Use your pictures resource again to find the appropriate picture again or use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_city.jpg">mine picture</a>. Bring it to our canvas and reduce with <strong>Edit &gt; Free Transform</strong> as shown on my picture below:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_04big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_04.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 04" /></a></p>
<p>To bring it realistic view apply <strong>Filter &gt; Blur &gt; Gaussian Blur</strong> with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_05.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 05" /></p>
<p>Change layer mode to <strong>Overlay</strong> and set opacity up to 80%. See what we have now:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_06big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_06.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 06" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, move to the main strep of our tutorial. Select the<strong> Brush Tool</strong> and chose the one brush from the standard Photoshop brushes gallery:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_07.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 07" /></p>
<p>After that reduce brush size till 30 pixels and draw out the text with black color on the new layer.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_08big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_008.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 08" /></a></p>
<p>Reduce brush size till 8 pixels more and add small burr in some places.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_09big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_09.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 09" /></a></p>
<p>To emphasize the focus on the text create a new one layer and fill it with white color. After that mess with the layer mode &amp; opacity/fill. I tried<strong> Soft Light</strong> with a fill of 67%.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_10big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_10.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 10" /></a></p>
<p>Well, we’re done for the tutorial! I hope you enjoyed it, even just a little bit.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_11full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/text_on_the_window_11.jpg" alt="The Text on the Wet Sweaty Window 11" /></a></p>

<img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_21.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body" /></a></p>
<p>In this tutorial I will teach u how to create amazing laser beam based on illuminating effect and how to put it on the people body.</p>
<p><span id="more-5168"></span></p>
<p>Get started by finding a suitable photo to work with. For this you’ll want to use Google Images or feel free to use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_woman.jpg">my picture</a> of young woman. Open up the picture and start the tutorial. I would like to add some cold blue hue to the picture. For this you may use<strong> Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Levels </strong>with the same presets as you can see below:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_01.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 01" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_02.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 02" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_03.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 03" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_04.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 04" /></p>
<p>The result should be the same as mine:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_05.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 05" /></p>
<p>Ok, move to the next step. Time to add the first light beam. It is really so easy. Let me show you. But before we can start making the beam, I would like to note you that you need to get out the <strong>Brush Tool</strong> before and set up with the following settings:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_06.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 06" /></p>
<p>Also set foreground color to <strong>#00ccff</strong>. After that select the<strong> Pen Tool</strong> (you need to make sure that you’re working with <strong>Paths</strong> instead of<strong> Shape Layers</strong>). Draw out the curve line using paths. Don’t forget that woman body has some reliefs, so in this case the line should be relief also because beam is refracted on the body and clothes.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_07big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_07.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 07" /></a></p>
<p>Then right-click and select <strong>Stroke Path</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_08.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 08" /></p>
<p>A little dialog box will appear as in the screenshot. Choose the <strong>Brush</strong> resource and press Ok.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_09.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 09" /></p>
<p>Next right click again and select <strong>Delete Path</strong>. So, your picture uses to look as mine:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_10big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_10.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 10" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, good start! After that apply <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_11.jpg">Outer Glow</a> layer style to the current layer:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_11.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 11" /></p>
<p>And the result should be next:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_12big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_12.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 12" /></a></p>
<p>Then, select the <strong>Eraser Tool</strong> and a soft round brush to clear line in a sharp fracture line places.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_13big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_13.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 13" /></a></p>
<p>After that get out the <strong>Smudge Tool</strong> (Strength: 100%) and for the brush resource chose one of the standard Photoshop brushes and reduce it size till 15 pixels.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_14.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 14" /></p>
<p>Then make some strokes as on my picture below:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_15big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 15" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_15.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 15" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, looking good, isn’t it? Make the same thing two more times:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_16big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 16" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_16.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 16" /></a></p>
<p>Good, three laser beams will be enough for now. Then move to the second part of this tutorial. I think that we should add some highlight from the beams on the woman’s body and clothes. Get out the <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool</strong> and select the face area. After that create a new layer and change layer mode to <strong>Overlay</strong> for this layer. Then choose the<strong> Brush Tool</strong> (Soft brush about 80 pixels, Opacity: 20%) and add some blue spots using the color of <strong>#00ccff</strong> like on my picture below.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 17" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_17.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 17" /></p>
<p>Now, reduce brush size till 8 pixels and underscore the lips lines.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 18" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_18.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 18" /></p>
<p>Ok, we are done with face area. After that invert selection with<strong> Select &gt; Inverse </strong>and process the hands and neck areas in the same way also.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_19big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 19" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_19.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 19" /></a></p>
<p>And the last one area that we need to add the blue hue is clothes.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_20big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 20" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_20.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 20" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, now remove selection with <strong>Ctrl+D</strong>. So, on this step we are done with tutorial!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_21full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 21" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/laser_beam_21.jpg" alt="How to Create Laser Beam on Body 21" /></a></p>
<p>Laser beams looks amazing and fantastic as for me. Feel free to experiment and you will get the best results!</p>

<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_01.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 01" /></p>
<p>Then apply <strong>Filter &gt; Noise &gt; Add Noise</strong> with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_02.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 02" /></p>
<p>Now we have an effect like this:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_03.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 03" /></p>
<p>Ok, after that apply one more <strong>Filter &gt; Sketch &gt; Chrome</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_04.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 04" /></p>
<p>The result should be next:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_05.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 05" /></p>
<p>Now, apply <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Hue/Saturation</strong> with following parameters to the current layer:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_06.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 06" /></p>
<p>After that your image should look like this:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_07.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 07" /></p>
<p>Ok, move to the next step. After that you need to find some appropriate picture to put it on the canvas. Go to Google Images and find the picture of fish or another sea dweller. Also feel free to use <a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_Fish.jpg">mine picture</a>. Open up the picture and use the <strong>Polygonal Lasso Tool</strong> to divide the picture from the white background as was shown on my screenshot below.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_08big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_08.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 08" /></a></p>
<p>Press <strong>Ctrl+C </strong>to copy selected part of image, then go back to the main canvas and press <strong>Ctrl+V</strong> to paste copied fragment here. After that reduce the fragment a little bit with <strong>Edit &gt; Free Transform</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_09big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_09.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 09" /></a></p>
<p>Now, set foreground color as <strong>#bbe8ff</strong> and set background color as black. Then create a new one layer and apply <strong>Filter &gt; Render &gt; Clouds</strong>:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_10.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 10" /></p>
<p>Change layer mode to <strong>Hard Light</strong>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_11.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 11" /></p>
<p>Merge all layers in one and apply <strong>Filter &gt; Distort &gt;Glass</strong> and use these values:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_12.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 12" /></p>
<p>And the result should be next:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 13" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_13.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 13" /></p>
<p>Ok, we are done with this tutorial! I like the underwater effect that we already have. Looking pretty nice, isn’t it?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_14full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 14" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/underwater_effect_14.jpg" alt="Underwater Effect with Unusual Techniques 14" /></a></p>

<p>Here one more interesting tutorial where I’m going to show you how to create amazing fabric texture with chameleon effect using just Photoshop tools.</p>
<p><span id="more-5003"></span></p>
<p>Let’s start with a new document. For this Photoshop tutorial I’m using a rather puny size of <strong>700&#215;700</strong> pixels, feel free to use a larger size though. Select some appropriate colors, for example colors of <strong>#7000a4</strong>, <strong>#911661</strong> and drag a linear gradient.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 01" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_01.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 01" /></p>
<p>After that use the <strong>Smudge Tool</strong> (Brush: 100px, Mode: Normal, Strength: 50%) to add a couple of paint-brush strokes.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_02big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 02" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_02.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 02" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, after that create the texture. Apply <strong>Filter &gt; Texture &gt; Texturizer </strong>with next presets:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 03" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_03.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 03" /></p>
<p>We made our fabric texture like on the picture below.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_04big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 04" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_04.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 04" /></a></p>
<p>Let’s add some folds to our fabric. Select the <strong>Burn Tool</strong> (Brush: 100 px, Mode: Shadows, Exposure: 20%) and add a few dark lines to the canvas.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_05big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 05" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_05.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 05" /></a></p>
<p>Now, apply the <strong>Dodge Tool</strong> (Brush: 100 px, Mode: Highlights, Exposure: 30%) to enhance contrast of the folds.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_06big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 06" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_06.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 06" /></a></p>
<p>Reduce the brush size and add thin bright lines on the top of folds.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_07big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 07" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_07.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 07" /></a></p>
<p>Looks good, isn’t it? And the last one thing that we have to do is add chameleon effect to our fabric. For this apply <strong>Quick Mask Mode </strong>with gradient as below:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_08big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 08" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_08.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 08" /></a></p>
<p>Then go back to <strong>Standard Mode</strong>. Now we have some selected area.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 09" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_09.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 09" /></p>
<p>Apply <strong>Image &gt; Adjustments &gt; Hue/Saturation</strong> (or press <strong>Ctrl+U</strong>) to selected area with similar settings to these:</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 10" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_10.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 10" /></p>
<p>Remove selection with <strong>Ctrl+D</strong> and we get the next chameleon effect:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_11big.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 11" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_11.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 11" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, we are done for now! Thanks for reading; I hope you enjoyed the tutorial!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_12full.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full" title="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 12" src="http://www.photoshopstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/chameleon_effect_12.jpg" alt="Creating Chameleon Effect Fabric Texture 12" /></a></p>
